The 2024 Paris Olympics are entering their final two days of competition (August 10 and 11). Many sports delegations will no longer be represented in these two days. However, Southeast Asian sports still have 12 athletes competing in 5 sports. These athletes all belong to regional delegations that have won medals: Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, and Indonesia.

Thailand has the largest number of athletes with five in cycling, golf, weightlifting and modern pentathlon. Golf and weightlifting are expected to bring home more medals.

The Malaysian delegation also hopes to win more medals, even gold, with cyclist Muhammad Shah Firdaus Sahrom. In addition, Indonesia also hopes to win more medals from weightlifter Nurul Akmal in the women's over 81kg category.

Currently, the Philippines is leading the Southeast Asian delegations at this year's Olympics with 2 gold medals and 2 bronze medals. Indonesia has 2 gold medals and 1 bronze medal. Thailand has 1 gold medal, 3 silver medals and 2 bronze medals. Malaysia has 2 bronze medals while Singapore has 1 bronze medal.
