At the Bercy Arena men's runway in Paris, Carlos Yulo scored 15,000 points by executing a perfect sequence of moves combining high somersaults and complex spins with precision and confidence.

It was even more impressive when he won the gold medal by defeating very strong opponents such as Artem Dolgopyat (Israel, 14,966 points, silver medal), Jake Jarman (England, 14,933 points, bronze medal).

This is the second gold medal in the history of the Philippines' Olympics, after Hidilyn Diaz's gold medal in the women's 55 kg weightlifting event at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
