“The difficulties at home are the motivation for me to want to study further to succeed and escape poverty. I want my family to have everything they need and have a more prosperous life.” That is what Le Thi Xuan, an 11th grade student at An Luong Dong High School, shared when receiving the scholarship for the Road to Olympia - Quarter III, 2024.

Recently, THACO cooperated with Vietnam Television and the Department of Education and Training of Thua Thien Hue province to award the Road to Olympia Scholarship Fund - Quarter III, 2024 to 10 disadvantaged students who have excelled in their studies in the locality.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Tan, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Thua Thien Hue province, representatives of Vietnam Television Station and teachers and students from high schools in the province. At the ceremony, THACO representative, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Son - General Director of THACO AUTO Thua Thien Hue awarded 10 scholarships, each worth 10 million VND to the students.
Mr. Nguyen Tan, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Thua Thien Hue province, said: "The scholarships sponsored by THACO not only provide material support but are also a message from parents and teachers, wishing that students continue to conquer the path of education, while spreading the spirit of learning in life."

“Despite many hardships and difficulties, my mother always gave me a good education. For me, my mother is the motivation for me to continue studying and I want to repay her kindness. My dream since I was a child was to study medicine. That is also the dream of my whole family ,” Xuan confided.
Through the program, THACO not only wishes to nurture and develop a talented, ethical and courageous young generation, but also demonstrates the Group's concern and support for the country's educational development.
The Road to Olympia Scholarship Fund is an activity under the Road to Olympia program coordinated by Vietnam Television, THACO and the Department of Education and Training of provinces and cities across the country. Accordingly, each province and city with a contestant winning the first prize of the Quarterly Competition will receive 10 scholarships (VND 10 million/scholarship) for students with difficult circumstances but striving to excel in their studies. Previously, the 2024 Road to Olympia competition ended with the first prize going to Vo Quang Phu Duc, from Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted in Hue. With this victory, THACO awarded 10 scholarships to disadvantaged students from high schools in Thua Thien Hue province. |
