According to Lao Dong, Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank) issued a new interest rate schedule for August, increasing by 0.2 percentage points for terms of 1-3 months.

Techcombank's online deposit interest rates are currently listed as follows:

Interest rates for 1-3 month terms increased by 0.2 percentage points, to 3.05-3.25%/year.

Interest rate for 3-5 month term is 3.25-3.45%/year.

Interest rate for 6-11 month term is at 4.25-4.35%/year.

Interest rates for terms greater than 12 months are at 4.95-5.05%/year.

Techcombank's counter savings interest rate table also recorded similar changes, currently listed as follows:

Interest rate for 1-3 month term is 2.95-3.15%/year.

Interest rate for 3-5 month term is 3.15-3.35%/year.

Interest rate for 6-11 month term is 4.15-4.25%/year.

Interest rates for terms greater than 12 months are at 4.85-4.95%/year.

Currently, Techcombank applies different interest rates for different deposit levels: under 1 billion VND, from 1-3 billion VND and over 3 billion VND. Accordingly, depositors will enjoy the highest interest rate of up to 5.05%/year for terms greater than 12 months with deposits over 3 billion VND. With deposits under 1 billion VND, customers can receive the highest interest rate of up to 4.95%/year for the same term.
