Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Tran Quy Kien said that planning and finance work is always a difficult, complicated and heavy task. However, it becomes even more difficult and complicated if the implementation process is not strictly followed and does not comply with current regulations. Therefore, smooth and healthy financial planning work, in compliance with current regulations of the State will be one of the prerequisites for all professional activities of units to take place smoothly, synchronously and with high efficiency.

In addition to the activities in planning and finance such as synthesis, auditing, statistics, etc., the ability of officials to grasp the current status of the industry is a content that needs special attention in the coming time. Because timely grasping the fluctuations of the Natural Resources and Environment industry will help provide information to the Ministry's leaders to promptly and objectively report to the Government and the National Assembly in the work of directing the development of policies and managing the implementation of socio-economic development plans.

Thereby, the Deputy Minister suggested that the trainees participating in the training course need to concentrate highly on researching, discussing and exchanging difficulties and obstacles that need to be resolved for the unit and propose recommendations to effectively implement planning and financial management work in the coming time at their unit to have a real change in quality.

At the same time, the training course is a great opportunity to help cadres and civil servants increasingly improve their qualifications and skills to meet the requirements of the job, build a team of cadres, civil servants and public employees who are professional, have good moral qualities, have political courage and capacity, meet the requirements of serving the people and the development of the country, contribute to the completion of the goals of individuals and organizations in training and fostering according to regulations.

At the training session, officers and experts from the Departments under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment presented on topics related to: Annual budget planning and estimates in guiding the implementation of the 2024 budget allocation; Approval of science and technology tasks in guiding the development of task descriptions and guidance on norms for developing estimates for science and technology tasks under the management of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment; Investment and asset management in guiding and disseminating some contents in investment management and guiding asset management for units that are rearranging and perfecting their apparatus; building and adjusting norms for the use of public assets.

During the training session, the participants' comments and questions were promptly answered by officers and experts from the Department of Planning and Finance and the Department of Science and Technology of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
