The signing of cooperation between the two units is a concrete activity to realize the 'Program of coordination of activities between the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union for the period 2022 - 2026'.

One of the goals of the cooperation program between VNNIC and the Youth and Children's Media Center is to raise awareness and provide skills and skills solutions to improve digital capacity for youth and apply digital technology in communicating about activities and movements of Youth Union and Association organizations at all levels.

The program also aims to raise awareness of the role and value of Vietnam's national domain name and the application of .vn domain name in building websites and official communication channels to serve the communication activities of union members, youth and grassroots union organizations. At the same time, through organizing playgrounds, forums and competitions, the two units will create a practical environment for union members and youth to increase practical experience, develop thinking and creativity.

Affirming that youth are the core and pioneering force in implementing digital transformation activities, VNNIC Director Nguyen Hong Thang said: With the goal of raising awareness, providing skills and solutions to help Vietnamese youth have a safe and reliable online presence on the Internet, the Ministry of Information and Communications has implemented the program 'Online presence with the national domain name .vn'.

The program 'Online presence with national domain name .VN' offers 2 breakthrough policies: 2 years free domain name and accompanying digital services (email, website) for domain name 'BIZ.VN' for newly established businesses within 1 year and for individual business households; domain name 'ID.VN' for people aged 18-23.

“The program is being implemented nationwide. With this program, young people will have the opportunity to access and use their own website and email associated with their own domain name, serving their learning activities, starting a business, making online CVs...”, Mr. Nguyen Hong Thang emphasized.

VNNIC leaders also informed that VNNIC and the Youth Media Center have agreed to implement activities to build, synchronize, and standardize the use of websites associated with the national domain name .vn for grassroots youth organizations. This is the official communication channel for youth activities.
