On the evening of July 31, the People's Committee of Thai Binh province issued a decision to temporarily suspend the Director of the Department of Education and Training, Nguyen Viet Hien, from July 31 to serve the inspection of the organization of the 10th grade entrance exam.
The period of suspension from work is 15 days.
According to the decision, during the inspection period, Mr. Nguyen Viet Hien is responsible for providing full information and relevant documents as requested by the head of the inspection team and competent authorities.

As reported, when the results of the 10th grade entrance exam in Thai Binh province were announced, many parents, teachers, and candidates were surprised because the scores did not accurately reflect the test results.
When the results of the re-examination of the exam were announced, public opinion in the province continued to be stirred up by the fact that the scores of the subjects were very different from the first graded scores.
Many people have sent petitions to the People's Committee of Thai Binh province to report irregularities in exam scores.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Binh province has requested the Provincial Inspectorate to conduct a surprise inspection of the implementation of policies, laws, tasks and powers assigned to the Department of Education and Training, the Director of the Department of Education and Training and related organizations and individuals in organizing the 10th grade exam.
The provincial police and the Department of Information and Communications will send officers and civil servants to inspect and send the list to the Thai Binh Provincial Inspectorate before 2:00 p.m. on July 30.
If deemed necessary, the Provincial Inspectorate may invite additional officers and civil servants from other agencies and units to participate in the inspection to ensure objectivity.
