Within the framework of the 20th Hoi An - Japan cultural exchange event in 2024, the program recreates the scene of merchant Araki Sotaro taking Princess Ngoc Hoa on a boat to Nagasaki with scenes of "bringing the bride - taking the bride", "getting on a boat to the husband's house", "drifting on the East Sea"...

Princess Ngoc Hoa's full name is Nguyen Phuc Ngoc Hoa, the daughter of Lord Sai Nguyen Phuc Nguyen. She was married by Lord Sai to a Japanese merchant, the owner of a large Japanese trading post at Hoi An port, Araki Sotaro.
