After the interview round, the organizing committee selected 90 official delegates, including Vietnamese and international students from 32 universities and academies of 11 countries, to attend the 8th ISSF forum in 2024 held in Ho Chi Minh City.

Malaysia and the Philippines are the two countries with the largest number of international delegates attending the forum with 19 students.
On August 2, international delegates arrived at the Ho Chi Minh City Academy of Officials (Binh Thanh District) to attend the forum. Here, the delegates, who are international students, had 2 days of experience in Ho Chi Minh City, sharing together around the topic "Youth promoting the role of vanguard and volunteering for the community: From local to global".
39 presentations from 32 schools were divided into 2 subcommittees: subcommittee on experience, mechanisms, and policies to promote volunteer activities and subcommittee on digital transformation in volunteer activities. Students presented their opinions and solutions to the scientific council through poster reports. The 5 best topics from each subcommittee continued to be selected for the presentation session.
The Scientific Council includes: Mr. Agustaviano Sofjan, Consulate General of Indonesia in Ho Chi Minh City; Prof. Dr. Le Van Canh, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology; Assoc. International students confidently present their ideas
Sharing with the scientific council, Russian student Nikita Lysenko said that Russia and Vietnam are two countries with very good cooperative relations. Through the evidence and documents they had previously studied, the Russian student group presented new ideas in education and international volunteer activities.
At the forum, a group of Malaysian students researched volunteer activities for sustainable education through the CINTAI program, which aims to educate primary school students about waste management and environmental protection.
"By using innovative teaching methods, the CINTAI program has significantly improved students' knowledge and attitudes towards environmental protection," the group of students shared.

A group of Russian students presented their paper to the scientific council.
It is not simply a matter of studying effective volunteer activities in the community in general and education in particular. Many papers highlight the role of applying digital transformation and technology in volunteer activities to increase their impact on the community.
The 8th ISSF Forum in 2024 is co-organized by the Vietnam Student Association of Ho Chi Minh City, Ho Chi Minh City National University, Center for Youth Science and Technology Development, with the support of Vingroup Innovation Fund, Vietnam - Southeast Asia Friendship Association of Ho Chi Minh City and Ho Chi Minh City Young Scientists Club.
The forum is organized to create an environment for exchange, learning and discussion between students in Ho Chi Minh City, international students studying and living in Vietnam and international students in the region and around the world.
In addition, the forum hopes to promote sharing among the scientific research student community of initiatives and creative solutions to enhance the responsibility and contribution of young people to important social issues in the country and the world.
In particular, enhancing the exchange and solidarity of students from countries in the ASEAN community, countries and territories around the world, between Vietnamese students and international students.
