On the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnamese Chemical Industry (August 19, 1969 - August 19, 2024), Lam Thao Super Phosphate and Chemical Joint Stock Company was again chosen by the Vietnam Chemical Group (HCVN) to host the 2024 Arts Festival - Northern region.

Festival of workers and laborers in the chemical industry

On August 5, the campus of Supe Lam Thao Company was filled with flags and flowers, and passersby were bustling as if there was a festival because there were nearly 300 male and female actors from 16 units in the Vietnam Chemical Group, along with a large number of audiences and supporters of the units attending the 2024 Arts Festival - Northern region. Leaving behind the hard work and grease, the Group's non-professional workers and actors transformed into songs and art performances, performing with all their might to bring the most attractive works to the audience.

Speaking at the Festival, Mr. Nguyen Huu Tu, Deputy General Director of HCVN Group said: HCVN Industry Group is an economic group in a special field, a fundamental industry of the country, contributing to ensuring national food security with nearly 20,000 employees, among the top strong corporations of the country. In addition to always performing well in production and business tasks, in the past 3 years, the Group has achieved the highest revenue and profit targets in its development history, fulfilling its obligations to the State and society, employment, life, and income of workers are always stable, higher year after year.

Every year, the Corporation and the HCVN Trade Union often organize many cultural, artistic and sports emulation movements in the whole industry, in which the Art Performance Festival is the most widespread mass cultural activity, aiming to encourage and motivate workers to compete, unite and strive to excellently complete their tasks.

"It can be seen that the cultural and artistic movement is a content that always attracts a large number of cadres, workers and employees to participate, showing their artistic talents to improve the spiritual and cultural life of workers, building a grassroots cultural life in the industry. Singing will relieve fatigue after working hours, creating a joyful, excited, united and proud atmosphere for the industry, for better production and work" - Mr. Tu said.

To prepare for the festival, many units have invested carefully and systematically, such as building content, program structure, inviting professional directors to help stage the show. Many performances have been performed to serve the Labor Conference at the unit and this time they continue to bring to the festival special performances, demonstrating the talents of their units.

16 art troupes brought to the Festival 63 unique performances with many genres such as: Solo, group singing, choir, dance, traditional musical instrument performance... with content praising love for the homeland, praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the tradition of the Vietnamese Chemical industry, the Vietnamese working class,...

The performances all showed investment, elaborate practice, high artistry, leaving many good impressions on the audience who came to watch and cheer.

According to the reporter's research, the reason Lam Thao Super Phosphate and Chemical Joint Stock Company was chosen as the venue for the Festival is because for many years, Lam Thao Super Phosphate has been a unit with a very vibrant emulation movement; cultural, artistic and sports activities are maintained regularly, becoming an indispensable part of the spiritual life of cadres and workers.

Since 2014, Supe Lam Thao has inaugurated the "Multi-purpose House" project, built on an area of ​​3,000 m2, with a total investment of 21 billion VND. Since then, this project has continuously been invested in new equipment, becoming a place for training, sports competitions and cultural activities for thousands of employees of the company as well as people around the area.

In addition to focusing on investing in building cultural and sports facilities for businesses, the Company also supports the construction of cultural houses and sports facilities in Lam Thao district, creating motivation for cultural and sports activities in the community.

In the second time hosting this Festival, Supe Lam Thao demonstrated a high sense of responsibility and a scientific working method. From leaders to workers, they were always attentive, enthusiastic, and hospitable; always praised by the troupes of actors and athletes participating in the festival and sports festival.

Not only did it help the Group and the Vietnam National Football Federation successfully organize sports and performances, the performances and competition content of the Supe Lam Thao troupe at the Festival were also extremely attractive, enthusiastically cheered, and left a good impression on the audience.

Speaking at the closing session of the Festival, Mr. Nguyen Huy Thong - Chairman of the HCVN Industrial Trade Union affirmed: Supe Lam Thao not only successfully completed the hosting task but also the performances of the Company were of excellent artistic quality. Therefore, the Jury and the Organizing Committee awarded the Special Prize to the Supe Lam Thao acting troupe. Along with that was the "heartfelt and spoken" award for the organization, reception and service work that nearly 300 representatives of leaders and non-professional actors of the troupes sent to General Director Pham Thanh Tung and the staff and workers of Supe Lam Thao.

The Organizing Committee decided to award 1 Special Prize to Lam Thao Superphosphate and Chemical Joint Stock Company; 1 First Prize to Vietnam Apatite Company Limited; 3 Second Prizes to LIX Detergent Joint Stock Company - Bac Ninh Branch, Viet Tri Chemical Joint Stock Company, Sao Vang Rubber Joint Stock Company; 3 Third Prizes to DAP Vinachem Joint Stock Company, Vietnam Institute of Industrial Chemistry, Ha Bac Fertilizer and Chemical Joint Stock Company.
