SHB was honored as "Bank with typical creative products and services"

Many of SHB's innovative services and solutions have been honored at major domestic and international awards.

Recently, at the VOBA 2024 (Vietnam Outstanding Banking Awards 2024) ceremony, Saigon - Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHB) was honored as "Bank with outstanding innovative products and services" with "Online pre-approved unsecured overdraft product". The award is a recognition of SHB's creativity and innovation in developing convenient and suitable products/services for customers.

2024 is the 13th year that the Vietnam Retail Banking Forum and Outstanding Vietnamese Banking Awards (VOBA) take place. The program is organized by International Data Group (IDG) in collaboration with the Department of Information and Communications (DIC), Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade (CSID), Ho Chi Minh City Institute for Development Studies, University of Economics and Law (UEL), Vietnam Banking Association (VNBA) and Vietnam Digital Communications Association (VDCA).

The product “Online pre-approved unsecured overdraft” is implemented 100% on SHB’s digital platform. With the SHB Mobile application, customers can open an overdraft account in just 1 minute, promptly meeting their consumption and shopping needs. SHB supports the overdraft service online 24/7, customers do not have to go directly to the transaction counter, and do not depend on the bank’s opening/closing hours, thereby helping customers save time and costs.

Customers can also review the online credit contract signed with SHB and the general conditions of the overdraft product in each period to have a suitable capital usage plan. With features such as checking the limit, outstanding debt, current interest rate, expected interest, managing branch, transaction history, money transfer, changing debt collection accounts, early debt reminders, due and overdue... customers can fully proactively manage their finances, arrange reasonable resources to ensure the best credit quality. SHB keeps customers' personal loan information confidential from the registration process and overdraft limit usage with the most modern security technology so that customers can rest assured when transacting anytime, anywhere.

Always putting customers and the market at the center, over the years, SHB has constantly innovated and created improvements in processes and product development to improve service quality and solutions. "Online pre-approved unsecured overdraft" is one of the products that brings convenience and speed to customers, contributing to promoting consumer credit and limiting black credit according to the direction of the State Bank.

Since the beginning of the year, many of SHB's products and solutions have been honored by international organizations. At the Digital CX Awards 2024, SHB was the only Vietnamese bank to win the double award "Most Outstanding Digital Experience - Cash Flow Management Platform" with the product "Collection Service via SLINK Identity Account" and "Best Application of Technology for Digital Experience" for the solution "ACAS Automated Credit Approval System". Notably, the above two digital solutions were both researched and implemented by SHB itself using internal resources and personnel.

The Digital CX Awards are an annual award organized by The Digital Banker Magazine with the co-evaluation of partners PwC, Deloitte, Forrester and Capco. This is the only award system in the world that recognizes and honors innovative initiatives and pioneers in digital customer experience services in the global financial ecosystem.

In the first time Fortune Magazine announced the 500 largest financial groups and enterprises in Southeast Asia (Fortune Southeast Asia 500 – Fortune SEA 500), SHB ranked 137th in the list and 17th among financial institutions and enterprises in Vietnam.
