The decision to appoint Mr. Vu Chi Giang as Director of the Department of Construction of Vinh Phuc province was signed by Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong on August 2 and took effect from the date of signing.

Previously, on June 18, the Prime Minister decided to discipline Mr. Vu Chi Giang with a warning due to violations and shortcomings in his work, and the Central Inspection Commission has disciplined him with the Party. The disciplinary period is from May 14, 2024.

Then, on July 31, the People's Council of Vinh Phuc province dismissed Mr. Vu Chi Giang from the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Phuc province for the 2021-2026 term.

Mr. Giang (54 years old, from Hai Duong province) has a Master's degree in Law. He was nominated to be elected as Vice Chairman of Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee in 2014.
