According to the virtual filtering plan of the Ministry of Education and Training, the first virtual filtering will be carried out from August 13-14, and the results of the first wish processing will be available by 4:00 p.m. on August 14. The second virtual filtering will be carried out on August 15, and the results of the second wish processing will be available by 4:00 p.m. on August 15.

On August 16, virtual filtering will be done twice. The third virtual filtering will be done from 8-11am and the results of the third wish will be available at 11am; the fourth virtual filtering will be done from 2-4pm and the results will be available at 4pm on August 16.

On August 17, virtual filtering will be done twice. The 5th virtual filtering will be done from 8-11am and the result of the 5th wish will be processed at 11am; the 6th virtual filtering will be done from 2-4pm and the result will be at 4pm on August 17.

Immediately after the final virtual filtering results are available, before 5:00 p.m. on August 17, training institutions will enter the admission scores and admission results into the system, review and prepare to announce the first round of admission results according to the general schedule.

During the implementation process, the admission application processing system only filters out candidates who have passed the lower admission application to another training institution from the expected admission list that the training institution sends to the System.

Along with the general virtual filtering process of the Ministry of Education and Training, educational institutions are also divided into two virtual filtering groups, the North and the South. The North virtual filtering group is chaired by the University of Technology and the South virtual filtering group is coordinated by the Ho Chi Minh City National University.

After receiving the admission results, before 5:00 p.m. on August 27, candidates must confirm their first round of online admission on the Ministry of Education and Training's University Admissions System.

From August 28, if the enrollment quota is not met, schools will announce additional enrollment.

From September to December 2024, schools will consider the next admission rounds, update the list of admitted candidates and enroll according to regulations.
