A Luoi highland (Thua Thien Hue) possesses many wild, majestic natural landscapes and unique indigenous cultural features. A Luoi is a district of Thua Thien Hue province, in the west it has a border with Laos. The district is connected to Hue city by National Highway 49, about 70km away. This is an area with many ethnic minorities living such as Ta Oi, Co Tu, Van Kieu, etc. A Luoi is a mountainous district, located in the western terrain of the Northern Truong Son range, with an average altitude of 600-800 m above sea level, and an average slope of 20-25 degrees.
