- On April 29, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee organized the launching program of the "Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign" and the "Young Doctors' Festival following Uncle Ho's teachings, volunteering for community health" at the provincial level in 2025 in Vu Le commune, Bac Son district .
Speaking at the program, Comrade Doan Thanh Cong, Deputy Secretary in charge of the Provincial Youth Union, said: The 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign will be implemented with many practical activities such as the "Digital Education for All" movement, the "Supporting Exam Season" program, the "Green Summer" campaign, "Red Flamboyant Flowers", "Pink Vacation", "Green March". Through volunteer activities, we will contribute to building new rural areas and civilized urban areas, promoting youth participation in tourism development, preserving and promoting the value of geoparks; strengthening care and education for teenagers and children, and implementing youth projects and tasks in the area.
At the launching program of the "Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign" 2025, Lang Son Provincial Youth Union coordinated with accompanying units to support 240 million VND to build 4 bridges in Thanh Dong village (Tu Xuyen commune, Van Quan district); Pa O village (Tran Yen commune, Bac Son district); Ban Soong village (Van Thuy commune, Bac Son district); Ban Pe village (Yen Lo commune, Binh Gia district).
The Organizing Committee also supported 40 million VND to build 2 village road lighting projects in Quang Thai and Thong Nhat villages (Vu Le commune); and supported funding for 2 models and startup ideas of young people in the field of environmental protection and climate change response.
On this occasion, Tam Duc Viet Fund supported 100 gifts including necessities and cash for people and students in difficult circumstances in Vu Le commune, with a total value of 50 million VND. The Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union of the province supported Vu Le High School with 50 barrels of water and 1 water filter, with a total value of 10 million VND. The district Red Cross also gave gifts to poor households and children in difficult circumstances in Vu Le commune.
At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee introduced volunteer teams including: Exam Support; Red Flamboyant Soldiers; Green Summer Volunteer Students; Green March Volunteer Soldiers; Pink Vacation; and Digital Education for the People.
Immediately after the program, the Organizing Committee conducted medical examinations and provided free medicine to local people; provided training on internet access and digital skills to ensure safety, information security, fraud prevention, and identification of malicious information; provided advice and vocational training support for young people; organized "zero-dong" booths to serve people in Vu Le commune; inaugurated the village road lighting project in Quang Thai and Thong Nhat villages (Vu Le commune); started construction of a people's bridge and "Red Scarf" house for students in difficult circumstances in Tan Tri commune, Bac Son district.
