On the afternoon of August 9, the 11th Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee Conference carried out a number of contents within its authority. Secretary of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hong Linh chaired the conference.

At the conference, the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee approved the report of the Standing Committee of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee to the Dong Nai Provincial Party Executive Committee on the election of the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

After a secret ballot, Mr. Vo Tan Duc, Acting Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, was elected to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, with an absolute number of votes.

Mr. Vo Tan Duc, born in 1970, in Long Thanh district, Dong Nai province. Professional qualifications: Master of Construction Management, Bachelor of National Economic Planning, Bachelor of Finance and Accounting, Senior in Political Theory.

Before being assigned as Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Duc held the following positions: Vice Chairman of Nhon Trach District People's Committee; Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of Long Thanh District People's Committee and was elected to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee at the end of 2020.

On August 2, 2023, Mr. Duc was assigned by the Prime Minister as Acting Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
