At the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Vu Dai Thang informed about the comprehensive cooperation policy between Quang Ninh and partners from the Kingdom of Belgium, introduced the potential, strengths, and socio-economic achievements of the province; expressed his wish to receive support from the King, Queen, and the Belgian Government in attracting and connecting Belgian enterprises to invest in Quang Ninh.

Mr. Thang said that Quang Ninh wishes to strengthen cooperation with Belgium in key areas such as: manufacturing and processing industry, pharmaceuticals, automobiles, industrial park infrastructure development, seaports, logistics, renewable energy, digital economy, innovation, high-tech agriculture, tourism and education.

King Philippe expressed his impression of Quang Ninh’s development achievements, emphasizing the potential for cooperation between the province and European countries. He affirmed that he would connect with businesses and investors, bringing cooperation programs with Vietnam in general and Quang Ninh in particular to a new level. At the same time, he asked Quang Ninh province to create favorable conditions for Belgian businesses to have opportunities to cooperate and invest, especially in logistics and seaport development.

The working visit to Quang Ninh province is part of the King and Queen of Belgium’s visit to Vietnam. The event attracted the attention of dozens of leading Belgian corporations and businesses, showing that Quang Ninh is a potential destination for European investors.
