On August 7, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province issued a Plan to coordinate promotion and advertising through the program "Tourism, Cinema and Sports - Proud of Vietnamese identity". This is the first time all three fields of tourism, cinema and sports are connected in the same event.

The program “Tourism, Cinema and Sports - Proud of Vietnamese Identity” is organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province with the participation of many domestic and international screenwriters, directors, film producers, movie stars, martial arts stars... The program will take place for 3 days, from September 2 - 4, 2024 with many activities including:

Experiential tourism program (September 2): Visit some tourist destinations and scenic spots in Binh Dinh such as martial arts school, Long Phuoc pagoda, Lang Song Church, Quang Trung Museum, Twin Towers, Banh It Tower; Ky Co, Eo Gio... Thereby, creating inspiration for filmmakers, suggesting filming locations and creative ideas in cinematic works to attract domestic and international tourists.

Martial arts performance (September 2) at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square (Quy Nhon City). In addition to introducing and performing martial arts, the program also features competitions between traditional martial artists from provinces and cities across the country.

The “Wings of Miracles” Grand Concert (September 3) at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square. The event will feature art performances, expected to attract about 5,000 - 10,000 spectators. In particular, the red carpet of the Grand Concert will feature the participation of many delegates, guests, artists, film actors, and domestic and international martial arts stars.

Vietnam tourism through photo space (September 2-4) , at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square. In which, "Vietnam's beauty through cinema" displays about 200 images of the beauty of the country and people of Vietnam, which are filming locations appearing in domestic and international films; "Space introducing Binh Dinh in films" displays about 100 images from films filmed in Binh Dinh province, some cultural sites, historical relics, and scenic spots of Binh Dinh province.

Film screening program “Promoting and advertising tourism through cinema” (September 2-4): At cinema complexes in Quy Nhon City, 5 outdoor public cinema locations, the program will screen films with beautiful filming locations in several provinces/cities including Binh Dinh province and has attracted tourists to come and experience. The expected films include: I see yellow flowers on green grass, Pao's story, Aspiration of Thang Long, On the top of peace... The cinema complexes will not sell tickets for screenings of films selected by the organizers.

In addition, within the framework of the Tourism, Cinema and Sports program in Binh Dinh, the Workshop "Tourism, Cinema and Sports: Building the future - a long journey together" took place (September 3).

According to the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province, through the program "Tourism, Cinema and Sports - Proud of Vietnamese identity", Binh Dinh will promote the landscapes and tourist destinations of Binh Dinh with film settings and tourist attractions where domestic and international sporting events take place. At the same time, promote the image of the country, culture, and people of Vietnam in general and Binh Dinh in particular to international friends through the fields of tourism, cinema and sports.

In addition, the program also aims to promote the combined strength, potential and advantages of businesses, destinations, film producers and those working in the field of physical education and sports in linking the development of tourism, cinema and sports together to "create the future - a long journey together". From there, it contributes to honoring and promoting tourism and exporting Vietnamese culture abroad.

The program also aims to connect the cultural heritage of Binh Dinh province in tourism promotion, linking together into a system to preserve, promote and exploit heritage to serve tourism development; Building an environment, a bridge for filmmakers, businesses, managers to meet, exchange and propose more effective solutions to combine tourism, cinema and sports in promoting and building images for destinations of Vietnam in general, Binh Dinh in particular to a large number of domestic and international tourists...
