The annual meeting shows the concern of the Party Committee, the Military Region Command, officers and soldiers of the armed forces of Military Region 7 for previous generations of officers, arousing patriotism, love of socialism, national pride, the morality of remembering the source of water when drinking water, and repaying gratitude.

At the program, Major General Tran Vinh Ngoc, Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 7, informed about the basic and new contents of the world, regional and domestic situation. Accordingly, in 2024, under the leadership and direction of the Party and State, directly the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense ; the close coordination of Party committees and authorities at all levels; the support and assistance of central and local departments, ministries, branches, organizations and people, the armed forces of Military Region 7 have closely united, joined hands, been proactive, creative, strived to overcome all difficulties, and comprehensively completed military and defense tasks, with many tasks completed better than in 2023.

Some tasks were completed excellently, leaving many outstanding marks in various fields of work; recognized and highly appreciated by the Party, State, Central Military Commission, Ministry of National Defense and people.

In 2024, the entire Military Region 7 will implement 46 projects with a total investment of nearly 4,000 billion VND. Phase 2 of the construction of the border patrol road in Tay Ninh will be completed on June 30, 2024, with a total investment of 350 billion VND, 6 months ahead of schedule. Solidly build 63/65 militia posts patrolling the land border, with a budget of over 120 billion VND.

In addition, Military Region 7 built 2 kindergartens adjacent to border residential areas, with a total cost of over 17 billion VND; supported the construction of 93 houses/20 residential areas, with a total cost of over 18 billion VND.

By the end of 2024, Military Region 7 and localities had built, inaugurated, and handed over 722 houses/58 border residential areas, with a total cost of over 215 billion VND.

Units and localities have also supported more than 118 billion VND for Military Region 7 and border and island localities.

Military Region 7 also built and donated 511 military-civilian gratitude houses, gratitude houses, and great solidarity houses to families of policy beneficiaries, ethnic minorities, and religious people, worth more than 38 billion VND, and 30 cultural and sports facilities in religious establishments and ethnic minority areas, costing over 15 billion VND...

Military Region 7 has mobilized businesses, agencies, and armed forces units of Military Region 7 to raise a total of over 29 billion VND to support people in 9 northern provinces and cities that suffered heavy damage from storm No. 3.

Currently, 100% of commune-level military commands have their own standard working headquarters. 1,249/1,249 commune-level military commands have military party cells; 1,245/1,249 party cells have party committees.

In addition, Military Region 7 also maintains sisterhood with 87 units of the Royal Cambodian Army and supports barracks repair and equipment procurement with a total amount of over 24.5 billion VND. Maintains information exchange activities with the Eastern Army Group - Ministry of the Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces.
