(Dan Tri) - The Central Inspection Committee pointed out many violations by individuals related to the Dai Ninh project in Lam Dong, including the responsibility of many leaders, former leaders of the province and the Government Inspectorate.
The results of the inspection when there were signs of violations and the results of the review and proposal for disciplinary action against the Party Committee of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee were reviewed and decided by the Central Inspection Commission at the 45th session, which took place on August 7 and 8. The Party's inspection agency determined that the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Party Committee of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee violated the principle of democratic centralism and working regulations. This Party collective also lacked responsibility, loosened leadership and direction, allowing the Provincial People's Committee and many organizations and individuals to seriously violate Party regulations and State laws in the management and use of land for a number of investment projects in the province. From this violation, many party organizations and party members were disciplined, many officials and party members were criminally prosecuted for violations and shortcomings in the case of "Giving and receiving bribes; taking advantage of positions and powers while performing official duties" that occurred at the Dai Ninh Urban Area Project in Lam Dong province and related localities and units.

According to the Central Inspection Commission, the above violations have caused serious consequences that are difficult to overcome, with a risk of huge losses of State money and assets, causing bad public opinion, reducing the prestige of the Party organization and local government, to the point of having to consider and handle disciplinary actions. The Party's inspection agency also pointed out personal responsibility for the above violations and shortcomings. That responsibility belongs to Mr. Tran Duc Quan, former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and Mr. Tran Van Hiep, former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee (expelled from the Party and criminally prosecuted). Other responsible people include: Huynh Duc Hoa, former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Tran Dinh Van, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Doan Van Viet, former Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Vo Ngoc Hiep, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. In addition, the Party's inspection agency also determined the responsibility of former members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee, including Dang Tri Dung and Nguyen Van Yen; members of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee, including Nguyen Ngoc Phuc and Pham S; and Mr. Huynh Ngoc Hai, Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment; Nguyen Van Son, Secretary of Lam Ha District Party Committee; Bui Son Dien, former Secretary of Duc Trong District Party Committee, former Director of the Department of Planning and Investment; Le Quang Trung, Director of the Department of Construction; Tran Phuong, Director of the Department of Taxation of Lam Dong Province. Regarding the above violations, according to the Central Inspection Commission, there is also responsibility of the Party Delegation of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 term; the Party Executive Committee of the Government Inspectorate for the 2016-2021 term; the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Government Office for the 2020-2025 term and Mr. Le Minh Khai, Deputy Prime Minister, former Inspector General of the Government, along with a number of other Party organizations and Party members.

Considering the content, nature, level, consequences, and causes of the violations, the Central Inspection Committee decided to issue a disciplinary warning to the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee for the terms 2011-2016, 2016-2021, 2021-2026; the Party Delegation of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Council for the term 2021-2026; and the Standing Committee of the Da Lat City Party Committee for the term 2020-2025. The individuals subject to disciplinary warnings include: Huynh Duc Hoa, Tran Dinh Van, Doan Van Viet, Dang Tri Dung, Nguyen Van Yen, Pham S, Huynh Ngoc Hai, Bui Son Dien, and Le Quang Trung. The disciplinary form of reprimand applies to the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Government Office for the term 2020-2025 and Mr. Vo Ngoc Hiep, Nguyen Ngoc Phuc, Nguyen Van Son, and Tran Phuong. The Central Inspection Commission requested competent authorities to consider and discipline the Standing Committee of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee for the 2015-2020 and 2020-2025 terms; the Party Committee of the Government Inspectorate for the 2016-2021 term and Mr. Le Minh Khai. The agency also requested the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Party Committee of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee to lead and direct the timely correction of violations and shortcomings pointed out; and to discipline party organizations and party members according to the conclusion of the Central Inspection Commission. According to the Central Inspection Commission, this agency is continuing to inspect, consider and handle organizations and individuals with violations according to its authority.
