Delegates discussed at the workshop. |
Speaking at the workshop, comrade Nguyen Manh Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee, emphasized that ethics are value standards that are objectively formed in society, which have the effect of governing human behavior. During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh considered ethics to be the root of a revolutionary, like the root of a tree, the source of a river, of a stream: “Just like a river must have a source to have water, without a source the river will dry up. A tree must have roots, without roots the tree will wither. A revolutionary must have ethics, without ethics, no matter how talented, he cannot lead the people”.
The Party Newspaper Workshop on Party building propaganda on ethics is an important contribution demonstrating the high determination of Binh Phuoc press in bringing the Party's Resolution deeply into life, contributing to spreading Regulation 144-QD/TW dated May 9, 2024 of the 13th Politburo on revolutionary ethical standards of cadres and party members in the new period.

Comrade Le Quoc Minh spoke at the conference. |
Speaking at the workshop, comrade Le Quoc Minh emphasized: Propagating Party building on ethics in the current period not only has great theoretical and practical significance, but also contributes to improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party, making the Party increasingly clean and strong, worthy of the trust and love of the people, and at the same time creating motivation for the Party to excellently fulfill its responsibilities. This is also an urgent requirement, requiring local Party press agencies to actively participate, clearly demonstrating their responsibility to the Party and the people, worthy of being the voice of the Party Committee, government and people of each locality.
The workshop is not only an opportunity for local Party press agencies to share experiences in propagating Party building ethics, but also helps Party journalists across the country in general and the Southeast region in particular to exchange expertise, communicate, learn, strengthen solidarity and cooperation for mutual development. From there, it contributes to spreading and bringing Regulation No. 144 of the Politburo on revolutionary ethical standards of cadres and Party members in the new period, deeply into life.
Previously, comrade Le Quoc Minh visited and worked with journalists in Binh Phuoc province. Comrade Le Quoc Minh noted that social networking platforms, especially Facebook with over 70 million users in Vietnam, along with the emergence of artificial intelligence, have led to fierce competition for information. Therefore, it requires press agencies to focus on improving the quality of information, packaging products, and learning how to manage artificial intelligence products. At the same time, create links between press agencies to attract the public.
