In Decision No. 2198/QD-TTg dated December 25, 2021 of the Prime Minister, Gia Phu Bronze Drum was recognized as a national treasure (10th batch).
To promote the value of national treasures, Lao Cai province presided over and coordinated with researchers and experts to organize many professional measures to put into experience activities for generations of students in the history and culture education program, such as organizing patterns and redrawing detailed patterns of the overall Gia Phu drum and Pha Long drum face.

National treasures are artifacts that contain great historical, cultural and artistic value to the nation. Since 2012, the Prime Minister has recognized 294 national treasures 12 times.
