Petrovietnam and PVCFC accompany the political art program "Parallel 17 - Aspiration for peace"
The political art program "Parallel 17 - Aspiration for Peace" will take place at 8:00 p.m. on August 16, 2024 at the Northern Flag Tower - Special National Monument, Hien Luong - Ben Hai River, Vinh Linh District, Quang Tri Province. The program has the participation of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam), PetroVietnam Ca Mau Fertilizer Joint Stock Company (PVCFC), Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank), GELEX Group.
The program aims to review the years of division between the North and the South. Twenty years of pain, loss and sacrifice have further fueled the desire for peace and national unity in every Vietnamese person, especially those living in the border areas. In particular, this is an opportunity to recall the glorious steel accumulation of Vinh Linh, the bridgehead of the North, the direct rear of the Southern frontline.
Thereby, widely propagating the historical, cultural and revolutionary traditions of the nation; educating political ideology, ethics and lifestyle; more strongly arousing the spirit of patriotism, self-reliance, solidarity, and the desire to develop a prosperous and happy country of all people; promoting the cultural values, strength and dedication of all Vietnamese people; fostering people's trust in the cause of innovation under the leadership of the Party. The program also hopes to introduce a new Parallel 17 - a new Vinh Linh, a Quang Tri that is growing stronger every day, an impressive tourist and historical destination for visitors; connecting people at home and abroad, connecting the past - present and together towards a peaceful and beautiful future.

The program includes two main parts: Ceremony and Political Art Program. The art program has 5 chapters: The Days of July, As if there was no separation, Blood and flowers, Where Vietnam's strength is seen, The land of steel blooms. The art program "Parallel 17 - the desire for peace" is elaborately staged with specially designed sound and light in the hope that through art, the audience will have a more specific, impressive and emotional view, so that "Parallel 17" will continue to tell the story of peace for future generations.
On this occasion, the Viet Seed Fund - Nhan Dan Newspaper coordinated with businesses and sponsors to present 10 houses to families with revolutionary contributions in Vinh Linh district, each house worth 50 million VND. At the same time, Nhan Dan Newspaper coordinated with Thien Tam Fund of Vingroup Corporation to present 500 gifts to families with special difficult circumstances in Vinh Linh district; Dau Tu Newspaper and Health System 365 presented 200 scholarships to poor but studious students in Quang Tri province, each gift worth 1 million VND; Pha Le Group presented 300 million VND to support the army and people of Con Co island. In addition, Nhan Dan Television coordinated with Quang Tri Newspaper, Kinh te & Do thi Newspaper to present 200 bicycles to students in 3 mountainous communes of Vinh Linh district, Quang Tri province.
The program will be broadcast live on Nhan Dan Television channel, a number of Radio and Television stations in provinces and cities across the country and on digital platforms.
