Petrovietnam reviews the implementation of the Digital Initiative on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System
Attending the meeting were Mr. Tran Binh Minh - Member of Petrovietnam Board of Directors, the Group's departments/offices and representatives of NGS Equipment and Communications Joint Stock Company. The meeting was held online with a bridge point at the headquarters of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, Hanoi.
At the meeting, Mr. Truong Quoc Lam - Chief of the Group Office, Head of the ERP Implementation Team reported on the management and operation of the SAP - ERP Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP Phase 1); the implementation of the Human Resource and Training Management System (ERP Phase 2) and the Risk Management System (ERP Phase 3).

The Group's Office and specialized departments attended the meeting at the Hanoi bridge point.
Regarding the management and operation of the ERP System Phase 1, the Group's departments/offices reported and updated the current status of the operation of the ERP System Phase 1, the remaining difficulties and problems, and at the same time proposed opinions on the operation guidance process, as a basis for the relevant departments and units to update data fully and promptly, towards stable and effective system operation.
After listening to the report contents as well as the comments of Mr. Tran Binh Minh - Member of the Board of Directors of Petrovietnam and the Group's departments/offices, Petrovietnam General Director Le Ngoc Son requested the Group's departments/offices, NGS Contractor, and member units to focus on implementing a number of key tasks, so that the digital initiatives on Petrovietnam's ERP Enterprise Resource Planning System are implemented according to the set schedule and goals.

The General Director of Petrovietnam also requested the consulting unit NGS to focus resources to support the Group during the official operation of the system; absorb user opinions, research to improve and upgrade the system to help Petrovietnam to use and exploit the maximum value of the system.
Mr. Le Ngoc Son emphasized: Petrovietnam's digital initiatives on the Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) are extremely important digital initiatives, playing a fundamental role in the Group's Digital Transformation Roadmap, contributing to helping the Group improve its management and operational capacity, and being a premise for implementing the next digital initiatives in the Digital Transformation Roadmap.

To successfully implement Petrovietnam's digital transformation, it requires continued strong direction from the Group's Board of Directors, active coordination from the Group's departments/offices, and related units, especially the Office and the Group's functional departments. Thoroughly grasping and promoting the direction of the Group's Party Committee Standing Committee on improving culture and enhancing the culture of coordination in performing tasks, the General Director of Petrovietnam requires the Group's departments/offices and units to be more determined, more focused in leadership and direction, and to enhance the role and responsibility of the head in implementing digital initiatives according to the approved Digital Transformation Roadmap in general and initiatives on the Enterprise Resource Planning System ERP in particular./.
