With the theme "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Development", the Congress focused on comprehensively assessing the situation and results of implementing the Resolution of the 16th Provincial Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front Delegates, term 2019-2024, drawing practical lessons; unifying the direction, goals, and action program in the new term.

At the Congress, delegates consulted to elect 86 people to the new term Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nam Dinh province, and elected 8 people to join the Standing Committee.

The new Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has consulted and elected Mr. Tran Minh Thang, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

The new Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nam Dinh province was born in 1972; hometown Thanh Loi commune, Vu Ban district, Nam Dinh province; has a Master's degree in Business Administration, and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in political theory.

Before being appointed as Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nam Dinh province, Mr. Tran Minh Thang had worked in many positions at a number of agencies and localities in the province, such as a department-level officer of the Department of Planning and Investment; Head of the General Department - Provincial Party Committee Office, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Secretary; Deputy, Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office; Secretary of the My Loc District Party Committee; Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee.
