Mr. Nguyen Duc Dung was elected as Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial Council

Earlier, on the morning of 6/8, the Standing Committee of Quang Nam Provincial Affairs held a meeting to announce the decision of the Secretariat Committee on staff work.

At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Chin, Chairman of Quang Nam Provincial Organization Committee announced a decision by the Party Central Secretariat to confirm Major General Nguyễn Đức Dũng - Director of Public Police in Quang Nam province - as Deputy Secretary of the Quang Nam provincial committee for 2020-2025.

Lieutenant General Nguyễn Đức Dũng (57 years old), from Phu Van village, Phu Quoc district, province Quảng Ngãi (today is Phu Van District, German town of Phu, Guangxi Province).

Qualification: Master's degree in criminology and criminal investigation (Academy of Criminal Justice); theoretical level politicalHigh and mighty.

Deputy Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Committee Nguyen Duc Dung has the following work process: Deputy Chief of Security Investigation Department in Guangnam province; Deputy Head of Nong Son District Public Police, Quang Nam province; Head of Political Protection Department; Chief of Staff Office of Quang Nam provincial public police; Deputy Director of the Guam Province Public Police; and since February 2020 he was promoted by the President from Colonel to Major General.

Since March 2020, he has been confirmed by the Secretariat of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam (class XII) as a member of the Standing Committee for Quang Nam Provincial Affairs from 2015 to 2020; Director of Public Security in Quang Nam province.

From October 2020 to July 2024, Major General Nguyễn Đức Dũng was the Commissioner of the Standing Committee on Provincial Affairs, Director of Public Police in Quang Nam province.
