Dong A Bank raised interest rates on several terms, including the three-month term from 3% to 3. 5%; and the six-month period from 4% to 4. 5%.
PVcomBank's interest rate is currently the highest in the market, up to 9. 5% for a 12-month term with minimum deposits of VND 2,000 billion.
The next one is HDBank with a fairly high interest rate of 8. 1% per annum for the 13-month term and 7. 7% for the 12-month term, provided that it maintains a minimum balance of 500 billion VND. The bank also applies an interest rate of 6% for the 18-month period.
MSB also applies a fairly high interest rate with deposit rates at bank counters of up to 8%/year for the 13-month term and 7% for the 12-month term.
