The five-time Grammy winner will sing the US national anthem live at the Stade de France stadium in Paris during the handover ceremony of the Olympic flag to Los Angeles, which will host the 2028 Summer Olympics. HER, a 27-year-old singer from California, has had an illustrious career with Oscar, Emmy and Grammy awards. In 2021, she won the Grammy Award for Song of the Year for "I Can't Breathe". In the same year, she won the Oscar for Best Original Song for "Fight for You" from the film "Judas and the Black Messiah". She co-wrote both songs. The singer also co-wrote the script for Netflix's animated series "We the People", which won her an Emmy Award for Children and Family. In just two days, the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics will officially come to an end after two weeks of exciting competition. According to the Organizing Committee, the closing ceremony will promise to be as exciting and surprising as the opening ceremony. The ceremony is scheduled to take place at 9 p.m. on Sunday, August 11 (2 a.m. on August 12, Vietnam time) at the Stade de France stadium with a capacity of about 80,000 people. The ceremony will last about 2 hours and 30 minutes with the theme "Record". About 100 acrobatic performers and dancers, including Arthur Cadre, an internationally renowned contortionist and choreographer, are considered the highlight of the event. The upcoming Olympics will be the third time Los Angeles has hosted an Olympics, after 1932 and 1984, but this will be the first time the city has hosted the Paralympics.
