One of the outstanding features of VNeID version 2.1.9 is the integration of the first-time vehicle registration public service. People can now carry out vehicle registration procedures through the VNeID application, without having to go directly to the Traffic Police Department (Department C08), Ministry of Public Security. This feature not only helps save time and effort for people but also contributes to the digitization of public administrative procedures in Vietnam.

Version 2.1.9 also introduces the online permanent residence registration feature, currently applicable to citizens with permanent residence in Ha Nam and Ho Chi Minh City.

Another notable feature is that VNeID 2.1.9 has expanded service integration with banking institutions such as VIB, LPbank, as well as EPAY e-wallet and VNPT-SmartCA digital certificate.

This gives users more options in making financial transactions, authenticating their electronic identities and managing personal accounts more conveniently and securely.

In addition to the new features, version 2.1.9 also adjusts and updates some minor content as well as fixes errors reported by users from the previous version. These improvements are to ensure that the VNeID application always operates stably, smoothly, and best meets the needs of users.

In addition to the new features, version 2.1.9 also complies with the latest regulations on the use of electronic identification accounts. This account allows users to access and use personal information, perform online public administrative procedures, and participate in electronic transactions quickly and conveniently.

With level 2 identification accounts, users can also exploit information related to electronic identification and other information that has been integrated from the national database.
