On August 7, news from the People's Committee of Quang Tri province said that a special art program with the theme "Immortal Epic" will be held at 8:10 p.m. on August 11, 2024.

This is one of the special and meaningful activities within the framework of the "Peace Wish" program of the 2024 Peace Festival, held for the first time in Quang Tri province.

According to the Organizing Committee, the program "Immortal Epic" in 2024 will last 90 minutes and will be broadcast live at 2 locations: Quang Tri Ancient Citadel Special Historical Relic Site and Thach Han River Flower Lantern Release Wharf, Quang Tri Province.

With 3 chapters: Forever twenty years old; Writing a legend; Resounding military march, the special art program "Immortal epic" shows the process of fighting steadfastly, bravely, sacrificing for the independence and freedom of the nation of the fathers, brothers and the generations today who are joining hands to build the homeland in the common development of the country with the spirit of pride in the past, looking towards the future.

The program is elaborately and magnificently staged, combining traditional artistic colors with modern stage techniques, design and staging.

The Organizing Committee said that the program will have the participation of artists: People's Artist Quang Tho, artist Thanh Thanh Hien, singers: Tung Duong, Anh Tho, Trong Tan, Dang Duong, Duong Hoang Yen, Pham Khanh Ngoc, Viet Danh, Oplus Group...

Previously, a number of key events and activities in response to the 2024 Peace Festival were held in Quang Tri province: Cycling Festival for Peace; Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Peace Festival; Trinh Cong Son Music Night - Song of Peace; "Taste of the Land of Sunny Flowers" Food Festival; Memorial Service for Heroes and Martyrs; Painting and photo exhibitions; Workshops on the theme of peace.

The special art program "Immortal Epic" is an annual event hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with localities, to pay tribute to heroic martyrs, war invalids, sick soldiers, and people with revolutionary contributions who sacrificed and contributed to the cause of national liberation, construction and protection of the Fatherland.
