Hanoi City Police have just coordinated with Hanoi City Customs Department to destroy a ring illegally transporting drugs disguised in wine from France to Vietnam.

Previously, on July 15, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (PC04) coordinated with the Hanoi Customs Department to discover and inspect a shipment from France to Vietnam through Noi Bai International Airport suspected of containing drugs.

During the inspection, the authorities discovered 8 boxes containing 97.5 kg of synthetic drugs packed in vacuum bags, disguised in wine bags.

Based on collected documents, PC04 coordinated with Hanoi Customs Department to arrest THT (born in 1995) for illegally transporting drugs in Mo Lao ward, Ha Dong district.

Continuing to expand the investigation, on July 19, the PC04 working group coordinated with professional units to arrest two subjects TNA (born in 1995) and NVT (born in 1998) for the act of "Illegal transportation of drugs" in Phu Xuyen district.

Currently, Hanoi City Police have decided to prosecute the case and prosecute the above 3 subjects for the crime of "Illegal transportation of drugs".
