A large two-color Perseid meteor streak in the sky of Phu Yen early this morning, August 13, was captured by Nguyen Ba Tuyen, Ho Chi Minh City Amateur Astronomy Club (HAAC). To watch the peak of this meteor shower, the HAAC team traveled from Ho Chi Minh City to Quy Nhon and Phu Yen, choosing the ideal location to enjoy the "party" of light in the sky.

Ms. Nguyen Kha Ly in the HAAC group said that the group watching the meteor shower this time had 8 people including 4 adults and 4 children. "Not only the HAAC members, but our group also included the family of Mr. Tam, a teacher working at Tran Phu High School (Tuy An, Phu Yen). It was wonderful at the time of watching, the weather was extremely favorable. During the night of watching the meteors, the whole group saw about 200 streaks, some of which were long and bright in the sky, everyone was excited", Ms. Kha Ly shared and added that this was one of the most wonderful and impressive times watching the meteor shower for her.
