Opening with a naive conversation at the age of 12 between Phuc (played by Hao Khang) and Vinh (played by Thanh Tu) about Mien (Mona Bao Tien): "Vinh Com, I think Mien is boring, she's always whining. Why do you like her?", Phuc commented. Responding to his best friend, Vinh confessed shyly: "I don't know either."
