Not only is it a place that preserves many special historical and cultural values, it is also a stop for spiritual tourism, returning to the source...

...Con Dao is also famous as a resort paradise with many picturesque beaches, worthy of the title of pearl island in the southeast of Vietnam.

Located off the coast of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, 185km from Vung Tau city and 230km from Ho Chi Minh city, Con Dao leaves an impression on those who love ecotourism with 16 large and small islands on the blue sea and white sand along with historical stories of the country.

One of the most memorable beaches of Con Dao, listed among the 26 most beautiful beaches in the world by Travel & Leisure magazine, is Dam Trau beach.

This magazine has used many beautiful words to choose the most beautiful beach in Vietnam, also one of the four most beautiful beaches in Asia: "special golden sand, gentle waves, shady green trees".

This is the perfect place to “swing in a hammock reading a book on the beach or strolling with the waves and enjoying a freshly picked coconut.”

Located next to Co Ong airport on the outer edge of Con Dao National Park, Dam Trau is only about 15km from the town center.

Wild and peaceful, behind is the primeval forest, in front is the vast beach with precarious cliffs jutting out into the sea, occasionally there are giant iron birds flying overhead when taking off and landing, Dam Trau beach is truly different from other beaches.

Not only attracting tourists with its clear sea water, crescent-shaped coastline, rich coral ecosystem under the water and small roads leading to the mangrove forest on the island, Dam Trau has become an indispensable stop on the journey to explore Con Dao.
