Ha Long Bay (Quang Ninh) has long been one of the great destinations on the tourist map of Vietnam. With thousands of large and small islands floating in the blue bay, beautiful beaches, and famous landmarks such as Dragon Eye Island, Tuan Chau Island, Hon Gai, Sung Sot Cave... Among them, Ti Top Island stands out, a small island but possesses impressive scenery.
Ti Top Island is located in Ha Long Bay, about 12km from Tuan Chau International Passenger Port. The island has a crescent-shaped sandbank. The sand here is washed clean and white by the tides all year round. In the late 19th century, the island was called Cat Nang.
On November 22, 1962, President Ho Chi Minh and Soviet astronaut Gherman Titop visited the island. To commemorate that trip, Uncle Ho named the island Titop. The island has since been considered one of the symbols of friendship between Vietnam and the Soviet Union, and now Vietnam and Russia.

Ti Top is an island with steep banks, one sloping bank with a flat white sand beach right below. It is quite convenient to go to the top of Ti Top to see Ha Long because this is one of the destinations on the itinerary of many travel tours. With a height of more than 100m, the road to the top of the mountain on the island is paved with wide stones for visitors to go up and down. On both sides of the stone steps are typical vegetation of the forest ecosystem of Ha Long Bay.
Like many islands in Ha Long Bay, Ti Top Island has a different shape from each direction. The northern side of the island has the shape of a karst tower with steep cliffs, the eastern side of the island looks like an Egyptian pyramid. The island has a small but beautiful beach with gentle waves. Titop Island is a suitable place to organize thrilling games such as parasailing, banana boating... and is an attractive destination for tourists who love to explore.
The way up to the observation deck on the top of the mountain is arranged with a number of stops for visitors and is also an opportunity for visitors to admire the space of Ha Long Bay at different heights. The highest point of the mountain top has a viewing tower.

Right below the foot of Ti Top Island is a golden sand beach on the blue sea like a crescent moon. Speedboats glide across the water, leaving behind white foam...
With this prime location, visitors can feel the beauty of Ha Long at any time of the year, any day. In summer, autumn, when the weather is sunny, the water surface sparkles brightly, the rocky islands are dark green.
In winter, spring, even on foggy, lightly rainy days, Ha Long becomes even more magical, with rock mountains shaped like turtles, lions, whales... appearing and disappearing amidst a veil of mist.
