At traditional markets in Can Tho City such as Tan An, Xuan Khanh, Ba Bo,... goods are abundant and prices are stable. In particular, vegetarian food, vegetables, and fruits have slightly increased prices compared to normal days.
Accordingly, the price of fruits increased from 5,000-10,000 VND/kg; the price of fresh flowers increased by about 5,000 VND/bunch, depending on the type; other vegetarian foods such as mushrooms and tofu increased by several thousand VND.

As a vegetarian food lover and afraid of the crowded situation on the full moon day, Ms. Pham Thi Tu (housewife, Phong Dien district, Can Tho city) went to the market to buy supplies early.
Ms. Tu said: "Go to the market early to buy dried foods like mushrooms, dried noodles, and vegetarian sausages to stock up on because it will be very crowded near the day. If you go late, it will be difficult to buy goods and prices will increase."
Assessing consumer purchasing power in July this year, Ms. Nguyen Thi My (a trader at Tan An market, Ninh Kieu district, Can Tho city) said that purchasing power has increased by 15-20% compared to last year.
"This year, people go shopping for food early for the full moon, so dried and frozen goods are bought a lot. I also take advantage of importing goods early to sell to customers from now until the full moon," said Ms. My.

At supermarkets and shopping malls in Can Tho City such as Co.opmart, Lotte, Go,... there are discount and promotion programs, consumers also take advantage of early sales.
"Because I run a store, I'm quite busy. Every time I go to the market, I usually buy enough for the whole week. I go to the supermarket early to hunt for sales and buy fruit later on the full moon day," said Nguyen Thi Tuyet Nhi (Thoi Lai district, Can Tho city).
