Achievements in the 2023 - 2024 school year

In the 2023-2024 school year, the Nam Dinh Department of Education and Training has implemented many synchronous and creative solutions to improve the quality of education. The work of discovering, training and nurturing excellent students at all levels has achieved many positive results. Many competitions and contests have been organized, attracting the active participation of students across the province and bringing high results.

Of these, the provincial English Speaking Contest had 368 students participating, of which 236 students entered the final round and 227 students won prizes. The 2024 Viettel World Office Informatics Championship in the national round had 1 Second Prize and 3 Third Prizes. At the provincial-level creative startup idea competitions for students, there were 2 First Prizes, 3 Second Prizes and 10 Third Prize projects; at the national level, there was 1 Second Prize and 1 Third Prize product.

The 2024 high school graduation exam recorded Nam Dinh ranked 2nd nationwide with an average score of 7,369 points. Notably, the province's average math score continued to maintain its leading position nationwide for 10 consecutive years. The province's high school graduation rate reached 99.95%.

In the national competition for excellent students, Nam Dinh had 84/95 students winning prizes, with 8 first prizes, 29 second prizes, 23 third prizes and 24 consolation prizes, ranking 3rd nationwide in terms of winning rate.

Tasks to be implemented in the next school year

Mr. Tran Le Doai, Vice Chairman of Nam Dinh Provincial People's Committee, on behalf of the provincial leaders, acknowledged the efforts and commended the results achieved by teachers and students of the schools in the past school year. On the eve of the new school year 2024-2025, he requested the Nam Dinh Education and Training sector to continue to focus on educating students on revolutionary ideals, ethics and life skills. At the same time, building a healthy school culture, promoting positive values ​​and solidarity should be promoted.

Promoting the achieved results and continuing to strongly innovate teaching methods and management work to constantly improve the quality of education and training in the spirit of Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee on fundamental and comprehensive innovation of education and training associated with the implementation of the 2018 General Education Program.

Further promote the emulation movements "Teach well - Learn well", "Innovation and creativity in management, teaching and learning" associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, in order to maximize the potential, intelligence, and arouse the enthusiasm of the teaching staff, educational management staff and the capacity of students.

At the same time, it is necessary to attach importance to the task of discovering and nurturing excellent students; there needs to be more effective solutions in the work of selecting and nurturing excellent students to achieve higher results worthy of the potential of Nam Dinh youth.

Mr. Tran Le Doai also requested the provincial education sector to continue accelerating digital transformation in management and teaching; effectively exploiting information technology platforms and digital learning materials. Focusing on activities to encourage learning and talent, building a learning society, encouraging young talents to develop, and promoting "start-up" activities among students.
