Salary over 30 million VND/month

Consolidated financial report data for the second quarter of 2024 reveals the desirable salaries of sales staff and managers of many real estate businesses listed on the stock exchange.

Novaland Group (stock code: NVL), Phat Dat Real Estate Development Joint Stock Company (stock code: PDR) or Khang Dien House Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company (stock code: KDH) are real estate companies that paid salaries of over 30 million VND/month to employees in the second quarter.

The report shows that Novaland used a salary fund of nearly VND132 billion to pay 955 employees (as of June 30). On average, each employee received nearly VND46 million/month.

At Khang Dien Company, each employee receives more than 37 million VND/month. At Phat Dat Company, an employee receives nearly 33 million VND/month.

Some other businesses in the statistical list also have employee salaries in the range of 10 - 20 million VND/month. At Dat Xanh Group (stock code: DXG), salary expenses in the second quarter were 87 billion VND for 2,443 employees. Thus, each employee received 11.87 million VND/month.

Or Saigon Thuong Tin Real Estate Company (TTC Land - stock code: SCR) pays each employee nearly 18 million VND/month. This level is similar to An Gia Real Estate Company (stock code: AGG).

Hoang Quan Group (stock code: HQC) - the only company on the list that is doing social housing projects - had a salary fund of VND2.5 billion in the last quarter for 161 employees. On average, each employee received nearly VND5.2 million/month.

Leaders with billions of salary

In addition to paying high salaries to employees, some businesses also pay "not-so-small" remuneration to their senior management team.

At Novaland Group, General Director Ng Teck Yow received a salary of nearly VND2.5 billion in the second quarter, the highest among the leaders. Another person who received a billion was Mr. Duong Van Bac - Finance Director, with an amount of more than VND1.4 billion. Chairman of the Board of Directors Bui Thanh Nhon and members of the Board of Directors did not receive remuneration.

At Phat Dat Company, General Director Bui Quang Anh Vu still maintains the highest salary in the board of directors. Mr. Vu received more than 1.4 billion VND in the second quarter, the only leader receiving a billion-VND salary at this enterprise.

Chairman of the Board of Directors Nguyen Van Dat received a salary of nearly 485 million VND, other members of the Board of Directors received about 120 million VND. The income fund of the Board of Directors, Board of Directors, and managers was nearly 6 billion VND, slightly higher than the same period last year.

The salary of the General Director of Dat Xanh Group in the first half of the year also increased by 43% compared to the same period last year, reaching more than 2 billion VND. Other management members reduced the corresponding amount (43%) in the general salary fund, to nearly 3.4 billion VND. The company sharply increased the salary of the General Director in the context that in the first half of the year, the profit after tax was 4 times higher than the same period, reaching more than 171 billion VND. The company also had a strong improvement in revenue, increasing by 100% to 2,190 billion VND.

At Hoang Quan Group, in the second quarter, General Director Nguyen Thanh Phong also received a salary of only over 192 million VND, lower than the average salary for the same position in the industry.
