Hanoi National University supports students with 2 million VND/month for living expenses and free dormitory accommodation for students majoring in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

For students who do not register for priority majors, Hanoi National University stipulates dormitory room rates from 140,000 - 215,000 VND/month depending on the type of room, 2-10 people/room (price does not include additional services according to student needs).

Conditions for students to register include: Students with social policies - children of martyrs, war invalids, sick soldiers, children of people who enjoy policies like war invalids, children of people with meritorious services; students with disabilities, whose father or mother is an ethnic minority; permanent residence in mountainous areas, areas with especially difficult socio-economic conditions, orphans of both parents; children of poor or near-poor households according to current regulations of the State.

Students under the strategic training mission of Hanoi National University who achieve high awards and high scores in excellent student exams and university entrance exams; actively participate in activities organized by the school, Youth Union, student association, dormitory or social organizations will also be exempted from dormitory fees.

Currently, Ho Chi Minh City National University has 4 types of rooms with different prices depending on the number of people staying. Specifically, a room for 2 people costs 1.25 million VND/month, a room for 4 people costs 650,000 VND/month, a room for 6 people costs 240,000 VND/month, and a room for 8 people costs 180,000 VND/month.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics has 3 dormitories located in District 1, District 5 (Ho Chi Minh City) and Vinh Long branch (Vinh Long City).

The school’s dormitory includes the following room types: 6, 8, 9, 10, and 12, with fees ranging from 300,000 - 1.15 million VND/month/student. The specific prices are as follows:

The University of Transport divides dormitory students into two categories. In case 1, full-time students pay 600,000 VND/semester and in case 2, graduate students pay 400,000 VND/semester.

The school supports electricity bills for students in dormitories of 10kWh/student/month. In addition to the supported indicators, students must pay according to the school's regulated price.

Ton Duc Thang University has announced that it will accept students to stay at Tan Phong dormitory in the 2024-2025 academic year. Accordingly, students have two options to pay fees: 5 months or 10 months. Fees will be calculated in addition to the application fee and deposit (to ensure the preservation of assets and equipment).

Dormitories at the school have monthly rental fees ranging from 250,000 to 3.4 million VND/month. Some types of rooms cost over 1 million VND, including 4-bed dormitory rooms (1.7 million VND/month), 2-bed rooms (3.4 million VND/month).

If students choose to add parking service, they need to pay a fee of 40,000 - 80,000 VND/month, depending on the type of vehicle, and must pay 5 months/time.

Next school year, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry has 2,800 dormitory quotas, of which 50% are for first-year students. Students who need to stay in the dormitory will fill out an application according to the prescribed form and submit it to the dormitory office.

The dormitory fee is 550,000 VND/month. The school will collect it for 10 months during the school year. In addition, students will pay an additional 225,000 VND/year for the use of washing machines.

Students who are eligible for tuition fee exemptions according to State regulations will receive a 50% reduction in dormitory fees. Students who are not eligible for tuition fee exemptions but are in difficult circumstances will submit an application, along with relevant documents, to the dormitory management board for synthesis and submission to the school board for consideration.

Vietnam-Germany University applies monthly dormitory fees from 600,000 VND to 2.4 million VND/month/student. Dormitory fees will be paid by semester (6 months) at the beginning of each semester, each student deposits 2 months of room rent and will be refunded after the lease contract is terminated and compensation costs (if any) are deducted. Electricity, water, internet costs will be paid according to monthly consumption notices.

The University of Education (University of Danang) also announced dormitory fees for the 2024-2025 school year ranging from 150,000-960,000 VND/month/student. In addition, students need to pay an additional 100,000 VND for property mortgage fees.

The dormitory rooms at the school are divided into 8-seat, 6-seat, 4-seat, high-quality 4-seat rooms and 2-3-seat guest rooms. In which, high-quality 4-seat rooms/room cost 960,000 VND/student/month, including cleaning fee of 10,000 VND/student.

This room has bunk beds, personal lockers, tables and chairs, refrigerator, air conditioner, ceiling fan, washing machine, water heater, blankets, sheets, pillows, mattresses, private bathroom, wifi service (if needed) and is only for international students who sign a cooperation agreement.
