Speaking at the program, Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor Nguyen Hai Long said: Workers' Month 2025 has the theme "Vietnamese workers pioneering into a new era", associated with the response to the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health with the theme "Strengthening assessment, identifying risks and proactively implementing measures to ensure occupational safety and health at the workplace", taking place from May 1 to 31. Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor requested workers, civil servants and laborers to promote their intelligence, responsibility, innovation, creativity, constantly strive, voluntarily study to improve their education and professional skills to adapt to the technological revolution, innovation and digital transformation; Work with high discipline, better productivity and quality, and actively participate in ensuring occupational safety and health, contributing to the completion of the goals and tasks of the unit and enterprise, actively contributing to the completion of socio-economic development tasks in 2025 and the following years.

The Provincial Federation of Labor hopes that businesses will continue to value and pay attention to investing in human resource development, sharing achievements with workers to nurture valuable capital, a pioneering force, directly in the cause of industrialization, modernization of the country and international integration.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Phan Van Anh acknowledged and commended the outstanding activities and achievements of trade unions at all levels and union members, employees and workers of the province in recent years.

In order for the union activities to be increasingly evident, attracting and gathering a large number of union members and employees to participate, the Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor requested that provincial unions at all levels promote propaganda and thoroughly disseminate the Party's directives and resolutions, and the State's policies and laws to union members and employees. Effectively organize the Workers' Month in conjunction with activities to care for workers, paying special attention to the quality of shift meals, health care, and mobilizing resources to support the construction of "Union shelters" for union members and employees in difficult circumstances.

Launch and organize patriotic emulation movements well, successfully carry out production and business tasks; promptly commend and reward outstanding collectives and individual workers with many initiatives and creativity in production and labor associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle. Coordinate with state management agencies to inspect and supervise the implementation of policies for workers in enterprises; perform well the role of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers.

Trade unions at all levels need to have solutions to participate in improving working conditions and environment, ensuring safety in production for workers; regularly pay attention to, propagate and train on occupational safety and health for enterprises and workers. Continue to innovate the content and methods of operation; focus on developing union members, establishing grassroots unions; actively participate in Party building, take care of training, introduce outstanding union members for the Party to consider, train and admit.

In particular, grasp the ideological situation of union members and workers. Strengthen the implementation of propaganda, dissemination and legal education activities, improve awareness, professional skills, and sense of discipline for workers, contributing to building an increasingly strong workforce in Ha Nam province.

On this occasion, 28 outstanding workers were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. The Provincial Federation of Labor presented 250 gifts and supported 6 "Union Shelters" for union members and workers in difficult circumstances with a total amount of 425 million VND.
