The Center will be under the direction and management of the Provincial Department of Planning and Investment, and under the management and professional guidance on trade promotion, industrial promotion and energy saving of the Department of Industry and Trade.
The center's headquarters is located in Lao Cai city. In addition, this unit has legal status, its own seal, and is allowed to open an account to operate in accordance with the law.
In 2018, Lao Cai Provincial Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion was established under the decision of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee, on the basis of merging the Center for Industrial Promotion and Industrial Development Consulting with Lao Cai Provincial Center for Trade Promotion.
This is a public service unit, with a part of regular expenditure guaranteed by the state budget, under the Department of Industry and Trade.
