After 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 36 "On promoting the application and development of information technology to meet the requirements of sustainable development and international integration" in the province, many positive results have been achieved, bringing practical efficiency and basically achieving the set goals. The province has completed the Steering Committee for digital transformation; identified and allocated 1 - 1.5% of the budget for digital transformation; issued more than 110 documents and regulations to promote the application of information technology locally; issued a list of projects and tasks for digital transformation in the period of 2023 - 2025 with 35 projects, 137 tasks, with a total estimated cost of over 1,700 billion VND.

Mr. Dinh Van Thieu presented a number of proposals and recommendations of the province to the working delegation.
During the period of 2014 - 2022, the province issued criteria for evaluating the application of information technology in state management. In 2023, it continued to issue a set of digital transformation assessment indexes (DTI) for 29 agencies with 8 sets of criteria. Up to now, the province has built and upgraded information technology infrastructure in a modern direction, connecting broadband to all communes and wards; 100% of subscribers use fiber optic cable; completed the construction of 19 shared databases of the province; completed the connection of provincial databases with the national database on population and databases of central ministries and branches according to regulations; the rate of digitized administrative procedure records reached 65.8%; deployed many digital platforms serving 3 contents of digital government, digital economy and digital society...

At the working session, Mr. Dinh Van Thieu also proposed and recommended to the interdisciplinary working group a number of tasks and solutions on building and perfecting institutions and policies to serve digital transformation, develop the digital economy and digital society such as: Building specific incentive policies for information technology enterprises, digital transformation; having policies to attract and reward officials, civil servants and public employees working in digital transformation and network information security and network security; building and perfecting the system of national technical standards and regulations on digital data; developing data center infrastructure, cloud computing, including studying the formation of regional data centers, serving socio-economic activities, activities of state agencies; publicizing and sharing public data, serving people and businesses; enhancing the application of data in the management, administration and operation of the apparatus based on data and digital technology; Promote the linkage model between enterprises, universities, and research institutes to form new business, production, product, and service models...
Deputy Minister Pham Duc Long acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of Khanh Hoa province, and emphasized the viewpoint that digital transformation must be practical, effective and associated with green transformation; people-centered; comprehensive and synchronous on all three pillars including digital government, digital economy and digital society. Deputy Minister Pham Duc Long suggested that Khanh Hoa province strengthen the leadership role of Party committees and the responsibility of leaders at agencies, units and localities for digital transformation. Leaders at all levels and sectors must be pioneers and leaders in digital transformation. Regarding the recommendations of localities, Deputy Minister Pham Duc Long acknowledged and will synthesize and advise the Government to remove difficulties and obstacles in digital transformation in the coming time...
