Through discussions, the two sides agreed to extend the stay for people using travel documents from 1 day to 2 days and 1 night through the Huu Nghi border gate (Vietnam) - Huu Nghi Quan (China), Tan Thanh customs clearance (Vietnam) - Po Chai (China) when approved by competent authorities.

During the working program, delegates from both sides also discussed a number of issues: Promoting the progress of building a cross-border tourism cooperation zone; researching and jointly implementing an electronic visa system at the Tan Thanh-Po Chai customs clearance; organizing self-driving tourism across the border; developing a plan to organize cultural, artistic and sports exchange events between the two sides; developing tourism products, the Lang Son-Bang Tuong tourism route, including cultural tourism routes including historical revolutionary sites...

The unification and early implementation of the above contents are of great significance in promoting tourism, contributing to socio-economic development , and bringing common benefits to people on both sides of the border.

This is one of the activities to concretize agreements and cooperation between the leaders of Lang Son province (Vietnam) and the leaders of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China) on further strengthening exchanges and cooperation in many fields, including promoting cross-border tourism.
