Since its establishment with 57 members, the Thai Binh Association in Nam Dinh has recruited nearly 1,000 members, truly becoming a common home for those far from home. The Association's Liaison Committee has organized many meaningful activities such as visiting sick and unfortunate members; celebrating longevity; rewarding excellent children and grandchildren; paying respects to deceased members and relatives. Over the past 35 years, the Association has: Visited 1,800 members; supported charity movements, assisted in overcoming natural disasters and epidemics with billions of VND; given gifts and celebrated longevity to more than 3,500 members; paid respects to 350 members and 500 relatives who passed away...

In addition, the Association also maintains cultural and artistic activities, typically the HQ Poetry Club, which meets periodically on the 19th of every month. Many members have composed thousands of poems praising the Party, Uncle Ho, and their homelands of Thai Binh and Nam Dinh, winning high prizes in competitions organized by the Central and Provincial Associations of the Elderly.

At the meeting, representatives of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and leaders of the Fatherland Front of Thai Binh province informed about the socio-economic development situation of the province and hoped that the Association would continue to unite, bond, support each other, and have many meaningful activities towards the homeland, contributing to building Thai Binh to become more developed and civilized.
