Accordingly, the Steering Committee for Population and City Development is headed by Ms. Vu Thu Ha, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee. The Director of the Department of Health is the Standing Deputy Head. Comrades: Tran Van Chung, Deputy Director of the Department of Health; Dinh Hong Phong, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs and Mr. Le Trung Hieu, Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Investment are Deputy Heads. The Steering Committee members include 17 comrades who are leaders of relevant departments, branches and units.

The Steering Committee consists of 17 members representing Departments, branches and units of the City.

The Steering Committee is responsible for proposing solutions and directions to implement issues related to population and development. Inspect and supervise the activities of the Population Steering Committees of districts, towns and cities; periodically summarize and evaluate reports to the City People's Committee, propose tasks and solutions to continue promoting the population and development work of the City.

The City People's Committee assigned the Department of Health as the standing agency responsible for ensuring the operating conditions of the Steering Committee, advising the Steering Committee to issue the Working Regulations of the Steering Committee and the Steering Committee's Delegates for Population and City Development. The Director of the Department of Health uses the available apparatus to organize the implementation of the Steering Committee's tasks.

The Steering Committee operates under a part-time regime and in accordance with the Working Regulations of the Steering Committee and the Steering Committee Delegates for Population and Development of the City. The Head of the Steering Committee uses the seal of the City People's Committee in directing and handling the work of the Steering Committee; the Deputy Heads and members use the seals of the agencies and units where they work in performing their assigned tasks.
