Accordingly, the consolidation of the Food Safety Steering Committee was clearly stated by the Provincial People's Committee in Decision 2007/QD-UBND. The Food Safety Steering Committee of Nghe An province has a total of 32 participants, including leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, professional experts from Departments, branches, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, the Provincial Police and Border Guard forces, a number of Association organizations, the Department of Education, the Youth Union, etc.

In which, Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung is the Head of the Steering Committee, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van De and Bui Dinh Long are Deputy Heads of the Committee. In addition, there are 9 people from Departments and branches participating in the Standing Team to assist the Committee.

The Steering Committee and the Standing Team shall assist in implementing the Operating Regulations and shall be responsible for directing the implementation of food safety work in the province in accordance with regulations and instructions from superiors.
