The Ministry of Public Security announced the assessment test scores for separate admission to universities and public security academies in 2024 on July 20.

According to the Ministry of Public Security's plan, on August 20, based on data exchange with the Ministry of Education and Training, public security academies and universities will announce the admission results of candidates.

Admission procedures for successful candidates take place between September 23-27.

In 2024, the enrollment target for new regular university-level police students assigned by the Ministry of Public Security to schools is 2,150.

The Ministry of Public Security maintains 3 stable admission methods. Of which, method 1 is direct admission, with priority given to admission according to the current admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and regulations of the Ministry of Public Security.

Method 2 is to consider candidates with international language certificates.

Method 3 is to consider admission by combining the results of the high school graduation exam of the Ministryof Education and Training with the admission assessment test of the Ministry of Public Security.

The scoring formula is the total score of 3 subjects in the high school graduation exam of the Ministry of Education and Training in the admission group (40%) and the assessment test score of the Ministry of Public Security (60%).

The 2024 Ministry of Public Security assessment exam took place on July 7 with the participation of nearly 18,000 candidates. This is the third year the exam has been organized by the Ministry of Public Security to serve as a basis for admission to public security academies and schools.
