Journalists from all over the country gathered here with joy and excitement. Reporters from the Journalists and Public Opinion newspaper recorded the opinions of the delegates about attending this meaningful event.
Artist Ngo Xuan Khoi - representative of the Monuments exhibition design department:
Affirming the great significance of press activities in the Viet Bac resistance base
I have collaborated with the Vietnam Press Museum in many activities, so we understand the work, the meaning of each historical event, and the historical value of the press documents and artifacts.
When we received the task of designing and displaying the National Historical Site of Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School, we spent time researching the history of the School, spending time researching artifacts, events, and characters associated with the School.

National historical site Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School is one of the red addresses, where revolutionary historical traditions are taught to generations.
These were people who had made great contributions to the revolution, were intellectuals, writers, artists... they came here to research, teach, and train the first team of journalists of the Vietnamese revolution. At that time, everything was very primitive, simple and rustic... so in the designs we tried to portray that "quality". The exhibition booths had to be rustic, simple, and close to each viewer.
The old images will be associated with bamboo, palm leaf roofs, although they have to be renewed, recreated, but we always rely on the authenticity of history, reflecting the atmosphere, space, spirit of that period, bamboo, palm leaf paintings. Especially affirming the great significance of press activities in the revolutionary war zones.
Not only is this the cradle of revolution, it is also the cradle of culture, closely linked to the lives of the people and compatriots in the Viet Bac resistance base. The colors of the displayed photos and documents must also be consistent with the frame, background and surrounding landscape. For example, the fonts are all in the old hand-typed form.

Artist Ngo Xuan Khoi - representative of the relic display design department shared with reporters.
The content of the documents is arranged from the early days of the School's establishment to the later process and up to the present time. The arrangement by time, from left to right, helps everyone visualize, remember and understand easily. Here there is a common spirit of all for victory.
Through the exhibits and documents, I want to emphasize a historical period, the early days of the revolution, the resistance war was about to enter a fierce and arduous phase. There was a lot of work to do, but the Party and the Government still recognized the importance of propaganda work, considering it an important front of the press. Realizing the urgency of the press to focus on training a generation of cadres who later contributed to creating the foundation of the press later and the revolution in general.
Ms. Do Hong Lang - daughter of journalist Do Duc Duc:
Remember the contributions of previous generations, always respect history
Coming to the project of restoration and embellishment of the National Monument of Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School, I was able to return to beautiful memories of my father's passion for journalism. We were able to return to the old resistance base, where the patriotism of the people merged with the mountains and rivers to form an invincible force to fight against the enemy.

Ms. Do Hong Lang (blue shirt) - daughter of journalist Do Duc Duc took a photo at the Relic.
Coming to the relic this time, I was impressed by the construction, especially the way the documents and artifacts were displayed. Previously, my family and I had coordinated to exchange information with the Vietnam Press Museum since the museum was first established. Many documents and artifacts about my father had been researched, selected and displayed.
Through my visit to this site, I realized that museum workers must be truly dedicated to creating such historical works. They work with enthusiasm, always remembering the contributions of previous generations, always respecting history, and knowing how to promote the invaluable values of Vietnamese journalism history.
Journalist Doan Quoc Hoc - Quang Nam Radio and Television Journalists Association (Quang Nam Provincial Journalists Association):
Access to documents and artifacts appearing and published for the first time
Through the trip to learn about the National Historical Site of Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School, I learned more about studying journalism and writing in ancient times. The information from the press at that time would contribute to propaganda for the revolution and the resistance war against the French colonialists.

Journalist Doan Quoc Hoc (brown shirt) - Quang Nam Radio and Television Journalists Association (Quang Nam Provincial Journalists Association).
From the documents here, I see that at the time when the army and people in the Viet Bac resistance base had many difficulties in communication, the press played an important role in encouraging and motivating the people and soldiers to fight to protect the independence of the nation. Contributing to mobilizing the people's strength, mobilizing all forces to participate in the resistance, these were the great contributions of the press during this period.
Coming to the relic, I saw documents and artifacts appearing and being published for the first time. These are all valuable documents, many of which have not been published by any media. These are photos of classrooms, handwritings of lecturers and students of that period.
Previously, we did not fully understand the significance of the establishment of Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School and its contributions, but now through this event we understand more about the great values that our ancestors' generation has created.

Visit the National Historical Site of Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School to see documents and artifacts published for the first time.
Coming to the National Historical Site of Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School, I think every journalist and the public will understand more about the development of Vietnam's revolutionary journalism. Here, there will be a rich source of documents and easy access for every reporter who wants to learn about the history of journalism as well as the journalism profession of our ancestors.
Ms. Le Hong Nhung - Officer in charge of Tan Thai Commune Radio Station, Dai Tu District, Thai Nguyen Province:
Continuing the tradition of revolutionary homeland
As a son of Tan Thai commune, I studied radio journalism and worked locally. After learning about the national historical site Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School, I felt very proud and honored that my workplace had a project of great historical significance for journalism.

Ms. Le Hong Nhung - Officer in charge of Tan Thai Commune Radio Station, Dai Tu District, Thai Nguyen Province.
As a local propagandist, I will try to research documentary artifacts and create propaganda radio works, widely introducing to people inside and outside the commune about the National Historical Site of Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School.
I see that the relic site has historical documents and artifacts that are invaluable heritages of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press. This will be a source of encouragement for the generation of Thai Nguyen journalists today to continue to strive to study and practice. Try to improve professional expertise to contribute to effectively promoting the potential strengths of the locality - the revolutionary homeland, thereby promoting local tourism development.
