The opening night took place with a special art program with the theme "Confession of the River" combined with a brilliant fireworks display.

The program consists of three chapters, carrying the message "Confession of a river: Legend of a river; Converging rivers; New flow of rivers".

The performances demonstrate the tangible and intangible cultural values, resources and unique tourism products of Vietnam; at the same time, they demonstrate the spirit of promoting Hue Festival 2025, the spirit of celebrating the 50th anniversary of Hue Liberation (1975 - 2025) and the rise of the centrally-governed city of Hue.

With the theme of "Confession of the River" as a series of performing arts, the opening night brought to delegates, audiences and visitors wonderful impressions and feelings about the heroic, sacred, beautiful and culturally rich "Mysterious Capital", with friendly, warm and hospitable people.

This is a unique art program, staged grandly, with high artistic quality, with the participation and performances of more than 800 famous actors, singers, artists and the masses, along with international art troupes from China and Korea.
