( Bqp.vn ) - On the evening of August 1, in Thai Nguyen, the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army organized the opening ceremony of the 14th Military Television Festival - 2024. Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army attended and gave a speech.

Implementing the plan of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, in recent times, television workers in the entire army have promoted their sense of responsibility, enthusiasm and passion for the profession to organize the production of the best works and were selected by units to participate. The 14th Military Television Festival had more than 400 works from nearly 140 agencies and units in the following genres: Columns, reports, science films, documentaries. This is the largest number compared to previous festivals. The works participating in the festival brought stories about their comrades to spread the belief and pride in the strength to protect the Fatherland and the affection and love for "Uncle Ho's soldiers"...

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the festival, Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh emphasized that over the past months, with the attention of Party committees, commanders, and political agencies at all levels; the enthusiastic and effective support of radio and television stations nationwide, the team of reporters, editors, and television technicians throughout the army have upheld their sense of responsibility, enthusiasm, and passion for their profession, organized production, and brought to the festival works that were carefully invested in, had profound content, and high artistic value. These are works of art, television works with new and creative ideas that have been nurtured and created over the past 2 years, promising to contribute to making the festival more rich, lively, high-quality, and attractive, spreading widely among cadres, soldiers, and people.
